And it burns…

It’s summertime, and while in UK we’ve just dropped the floor alerts, my country is burning, unfortunately to literally. We already have the crises and the unemployment now this! It’s so unfair. For instance 70% of a village is now gone in south Portugal / Tavira. Yes, I know it’s hot, but normally the cause is provoked fire. Some people make a lot of money when everything is burning down. How is such a thing possible? Watching the country burn down, watching families losing their houses and the heroes fighting so hard without any means apart from the help of the populations in general. A fireman in Portugal received almost any money and many in fact are volunteers. My heart is now with all of them: a big thank you!!! I’m glad we still have people like you in our country.

E Verao, e equanto no UK acabos de retirar os alertas de inundacao, o meu pais esta a arder, infelizmente literalmente. Ja nao bastava a crise e o desemprego agora isto! E tao injusto! Por exemplo 70% de uma freguesia de Tavira no sul de Portugal ja se foi. Sim, eu sei que esta calor, mas normalmente sao fogos provocados. Algumas pessoas fazem imenso dinheiro quando tudo esta a arder. Como e que tal situacao e possivel??? Assistir o pais a ser queimado, assistir a familias a perderem as suas casas enquanto os herois lutam tanto sem quaisquer meios para alem da ajuda das proprias populacoes. Um bombeiro em Portugal nao recebe quase nada e muitos sao na verdade voluntarios. O meu coracao esta com todos eles: um muito obrigada!!!! Fico feliz de ainda termos pessoas assim no nosso pais!.
