I’ve started to read this book on my way to Brussels and I have to say I was quite immerse in the story. I guess the what I’ve enjoyed the most was that it was based in Pakistan, and all about a culture so different than my own, yet with so many things in common. The plot focus around arranged marriage and how it is so important for the Pakistani families. It’s the only way the know for generations and it’s linked to their family honour. And then comes modern ages, having young generations living abroad and starting to break all the rules. Quite an easy read, but worth it.
